This post is not intended to take a position on the issue of abortion. By no means I seek to answer the question here, I think you should do your own thinking and answer it for yourself. If you are interested on where I stand on the issue, here it is: I consider my self pro-life and pro-choice (surprise, surprise). I don’t believe babies/fetuses should be aborted just for any reason, but I also think that regardless of whether you think it’s right or wrong, abortion should be a women’s choice, not the government choosing for them…or religious groups…or non-religious groups.
Check out this video below. I’m not a fan of Ray Comfort and here is why: whenever I come across one of his videos, books, etc.; most of the time he makes arguments by means of logical fallacies. It is as if he studied all possible logical fallacies so he can use them in his arguments. His arguments are generally invalid. The video below is just shocking. He made a whole documentary using the Hitler Argument to make a case against abortion. Does he even know about Godwin’s law? This is just laughable, I mean, regardless of where you stand on the issue of abortion, using Hitler to make an argument about something completely unrelated is just…so…Ray Comfort. And he is very serious about it.
You might be on the right side of any issue, but that should never excuse you from using logically valid arguments!
