I just realized that every morning when preparing my oatmeal I use tap water even though I have a water filter right next to me. I honestly don’t know why I do this and I honestly don’t have any preference, you see, I come from a country where you could actually see that the tap water looked quite different than what actual water is supposed to look like. I drank that water many times, so whatever it is I’m supposed to get from drinking tap water I already have it and I feel fine, except for this abnormal bump on my side
.
Some people get very particular about water and I find that really amusing, do I think tap water is 100% safe? probably not, but I don’t necessarily think is that bad either. Paying for bottle water more than what you pay for gas or milk is just ridiculous, it’s even more amusing when you start seeing all the different brands claiming their water is the purest of all, therefore charging more. You want to know what’s even funnier? when people start claiming one tastes better than the other…I tell you what, if your water has a “taste” then you should be worried about it. The only reason why I’d buy bottled water is just for the convenience of carrying some water with me, and even so I avoid doing that by having my own nalgene bottle and refilling it every time I need to…ahh…nalgene…that’s a subject for another post. In the meantime I’ll keep enjoying my oatmeal with Minneapolis city water, it actually adds a kick to my oatmeal.

Dasani is bottled tap water, which makes it even more amusing with people thinking they are getting pure spring water.
I grew up on St. Louis Park tap water, and I turned out fine. They put fluoride in the water, less cavities. I also drink Farmington tap water, granted it’s through my fridge filter, saves tons of money on needless bottled water.
I think drinking bottled water equals more waste. I’m not an environmentalist by any means, but it’s silly to waste all that money and material on bottled water when we have fairly safe water on-demand.

This is why I believe it is so important to have a water filter in your home. I can have pure water without being concerned about what’s being added. I found my filter at http://www.lifeionizers.com/?utm_source=A&utm_medium=B&utm_campaign=C
