The point is I’m getting serious about it, I don’t know where it will take me or if it going to become something more than a hobby, I think I would love doing photography for a living, but it is one those things that’s hard to make a decent and consistent living off of it. I have a few friends that are making a living with photography and I’m learning the technique and art of photography from them. But there is still a ways to go before I consider my self a decent photographer.
Last weekend one of those friends invited me to a family portrait session, I learned quite a few things, it was fun and interesting. Can’t wait for the summer to arrive so I can get out and experiment with my new camera and all the things I’m learning, I’m too much of a wimp right now to go out and shoot in the cold.
Product of that session was this picture, I think this picture represents in its entirety what I want my style to be: edgy, different, simple, fun, curious, misbehaved, evil…
I know someone with more knowledge and more experience can tell me everything that’s wrong with this picture and how technically incorrect it is, but I just like it so much…like they say: That’s what makes photography an art.
