Dunkin’ Donuts To MN: "I’ll Be Back"

I’ve never been to a Dunkin’ Donuts before but this is one of those iconic coffee/donut shops of the US and A.

Their main competitor, Krispy Kreme, just a couple of years ago gave up and closed shop in MN. Now Dunkin’ Donuts is going for a second run (they used to be here and closed shop like ten years ago) they plan to open hundreds of stores next year in MN and WI. 

I can’t understand how these two successful businesses haven’t been able to thrive in MN. Is not like we are leaner or healthier than the rest of the country but for some reason they haven’t been able to make it in this market. Seriously, who doesn’t like a delicious donut? Maybe this time is for good.

What Wipes?

Boy, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was paging through the catalog I got in the mail the other day. My day was brighten when I saw these…Notice they contain Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, that’s all I’m going to say about that.

$1 Pizza: I Should Have Known Better

Now that I don’t have the awesome perk of free lunch at work I’m always on the hunt for lunch solutions that would have little impact on our budget. Recently I was at a Walgreens and while passing by their frozen section I saw frozen pizzas for ONE dollar. “One dollar? Are you kidding me?”

At first I thought they were no good at all but after carefully inspecting the box, somehow it convinced me and I got a bunch, after all they are only a buck each.

When I got home and shared with my wife my awesome find, her look said it all. She gave me one those are-you-really-that-dumb? look…hmm…I knew I was in for some diarrhea interesting lunches.

Today I had my second pizza and that’s it, I learned my lesson. I’m throwing the rest of them away…I never had a pizza that tasted so much like cardboard, yes, they are that bad…I almost puked after my last bite today and my stomach hasn’t been feeling that well since…so whatever you do DON’T BUY DEERFIELD FARMS $1 FROZEN PIZZAS

Now here is a very good example of someone getting paid to write a blog post about a product and try to make it sound like he truly means those words bout the product…hmm…if only I could get paid for doing that.
