*On saturday I experienced something I haven’t experience in a while. Culture shock, yea, It has been a while since moving here in 2003. Is funny though, when I first came here and started going to RVC I used to dress up every weekend for service. I remember feeling overdressed, then I started dressing more casual, you know trying to adjust.
On saturday when we went to church it felt so weird because everybody was all dressed up and I was just wearing jeans and sneakers, man, I was dressed so informal. I felt uncomfortable. It was funny. I mean what’s the point?, anyways lets not go there…
*After church we had a meeting with Ron, Sandra and ten other people, most of them YWAMers whom are interested in the project of planting a base in Cuernavaca, Mexico. It was a really good meeting. Really cool to meet other people and share ideas and visions. It was so exciting to be part of that first meeting, Ron was thrilled. We had some snacks, we prayed and got to know each other better. We are so excited about Cuernavaca, although it seems far away is hard not to think about it. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for us.
*Sunday was Family/Easter day. We got to do our traditional round of family visits. Good food and good conversations always a part of it.
Is still pretty cold for April, can’t wait until it warms up, I have high expectations for the summer.
